Established businesswoman, community leader, and philanthropist Linda Ketner has been an advocate for Humanities Foundation’s affordable housing and community efforts for more than 30 years. As the founder and Chair of the Mayor’s Council on Homelessness and Affordable Housing, she inspired Bob and Tracy Doran to create Humanities Foundation in 1992 to address the critical need for affordable housing in the City of Charleston. She led the charge to create the SC Housing Trust Fund which has been an ongoing source of affordable housing capital for almost 30 years. She has been an enduring voice for equality and change, leading through example. Today she continues to support the programs of Humanities Foundation like the Marketplace Food Pantry and is on the front lines volunteering to help those in our community severely impacted by COVID-19.
Thank you Linda for being a Humanities Hero!
