Humanities Foundation Receives Grant From Daniel Island Community Fund (DICF)

Lamar Mowatt, Director of Resident Services for the Humanities Foundation, accepts a grant from the Daniel Island Community Fund (DICF) in the amount of $7,100.

Humanities Foundation is providing a full-day, three week summer camp program for children of Seven Farms Apartments on Daniel Island. The grant given by DICF will be used to support the camp and to provide a daily, nutritious lunch for all campers. The program will include both recreational and educational activities and feature field trips to historical and informational sites in the low country. In addition, campers will participate in a Cyber Security Summer Camp through the SPAWAR Systems Center and a golf summer camp through First Tee of Charleston. We thank DICF and the Daniel Island Property Owners’ Association for their continuous support of our DI community.

We are ready for the fun to begin!
