“Train Up a Child” – Mentoring Program

Pinckney Group Mentoring Program (PGMP) is an educational and mentoring programs for the children and youth residing in the Seven Farms Apartment community. This is an amenity which is free of charge to the residents of the property for children from kindergarten to 12th grade.

This project was launched in response to the nine lives that were so senselessly taken on June 17, 2015, at the Mother Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, South Carolina. Our goal is to link economically disadvantaged at-risk children to positive role models and leaders by providing anticipatory guidance that can lead to modifying negative behaviors. We want to encourage youth to thrive in the communities in which they live.
