Get to know us through how we serve our communities
Since 1992, Humanities Foundation has made meaningful impact in the communities we serve by offering numerous community and resident services programs. Learn more about our programs below.
-
ShelterNet
Our ShelterNet program provides emergency financial relief, helping over 50,000 individuals avoid eviction or loss of essential utility services since it was established in 1995.
-
Marketplace
Marketplace delivers food—from fresh produce to ready-made meals—to Humanities Foundation affordable housing communities as well as registered community partners in food-insecure areas in South Carolina, Georgia, and Virginia. Marketplace has delivered over ten million meals since 2014.

Youth Engagement
Our commitment to serve encompasses youth as well. We partner with many churches, businesses, and community organizations to offer after-school tutoring and mentoring programs. The goal of our youth services is to promote prosperity and well-being at all stages of life.

Senior Services
Humanities Foundation offers a variety of services to senior residents, including transportation, Telehealth, gardening clubs, and seasonal activities. We strive to support aging in place for people, families, and communities.
