Turkey Day Giveaway of the Lowcountry

Help a Neighbor in Need

We’re Fighting Food Insecurity Right Here in Our Own Backyards

Many South Carolinians do not know where, when, or if that next meal is coming. A growing number of our neighbors are going hungry. Food insecurity is an issue for so many families, especially during the Holiday Season. The Humanities Foundation, along with community sponsors, volunteers, partners, and the generous donations of many businesses and individuals like you, raised over $20,000 last year and was able to serve over 1600 families right here in the Lowcountry through our Turkey Day Giveaway Campaign.

Join us in fighting the fight against hunger again this Thanksgiving!
Every Donation Counts!
Your contribution of $15 will provide a Holiday Meal for a family of five.

Join us as we launch our fundraising campaign this October to kick off the holiday season. We are fighting and will continue to fight food insecurity right here in our own backyards. As you prepare to travel, eat, shop, and spend time with the ones you love, please don’t forget the true meaning of giving.

Receiving a turkey from the Humanities Foundation helps save me a lot of money. Being a senior citizen on a budget. It has helped me and I’m grateful.
