Humanities Foundation & Local Partners Help Families with Back-to-School Supplies and More
As we dive into the Back-to-School Season, Humanities Foundation is thrilled to have made a meaningful contribution to our family communities. Over $5000.00 worth of school supplies were purchased to assist families and children with back-to-school expenses. Each property received book-bags loaded with supplies, to ensure they have what they need for a successful return to school.
Locally in Charleston, the Back -to-School Bash at Seven Farms Apartments was a big hit, with over 150 enthusiastic attendees. Special thanks to Daniel Island Church of the Holy Cross, a valued member of our Adopt-a-Property program, for sponsoring the cookout and purchasing new shoes for each child. Additionally, thanks to the support of Rack Room Shoes for providing discounts and making the purchasing process seamless.
This collaboration positively impacted 55 students, setting them on a path to an even better academic journey. Beyond the practical help, the event fostered a strong sense of community togetherness, showcasing the incredible potential of local partnerships and dedicated volunteers. Together, we celebrate giving back and the transformative power of unity in our neighborhoods.
