Keeping Families Home for the Holidays.

Since 1995, ShelterNet has provided essential support to families and individuals facing eviction or utility disconnection. This year, thanks to the generous Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) from the City of Charleston, Charleston County, and the City of North Charleston, we’re able to continue offering emergency assistance to residents within these areas.

 Through ShelterNet, eligible recipients can receive help with past-due rent or utility bills once a year, providing critical relief and stability. Applications are open through our ShelterNet Referral Organizations (SROs), and we remain grateful for the transformative impact this program has on the lives of those we serve.

 As the holiday season approaches, ShelterNet aims to help families stay safe and secure in their homes—because everyone deserves a place to call home for the holidays.
